Our Outreach Partners

You’ve probably heard it said: “Teamwork makes the dream work.” When establishing this foundation, we took this motto to heart, and we partnered with established organizations to carry out our mission of being a light to children, the elderly, and disadvantaged. We’re so grateful for our partners and the opportunity to shine brighter because of them.

Elderly Engagement

Loneliness and discouragement are common feelings experienced by the elderly. Our partnership with local nursing homes and assisted living facilities provides the opportunity to engage regularly with the elderly in our community. We currently coordinate bingo events and host a traveling library monthly at these locations.

Food Programs

Although we can’t feed every hungry belly in our community, we can certainly help. And we do! Throughout the year, we volunteer at our local soup kitchen and contribute financially to local food pantries.

Youth Engagement

Children need to feel loved, and they need to know they are loved by God. To help spread this message, we sponsor underprivileged children to attend Mt. Lou San Bible camp, and we contribute financially to local organizations focused on sharing this Good News to young people.

Other Outreach Opportunities

  • Jericho House

It’s amazing what a fresh haircut can do for people, especially women. Our partnership with the Jericho House enables us to continue shining Grace’s light to those in the salon chair. Women who complete the 12-week recovery program at this home receive a gift certificate for a hair makeover at Mane Rage Salon, a salon where many of Grace’s fellow hairdressers work.

  • Zambia Missions

Grace served as a short-term missionary in Zambia, Africa, and while she left an impact on the people’s heart over there, they also made an impact on hers. Each year we’re blessed to send a financial gift to support the ministry efforts Grace participated in years ago.

  • Assistance for Medical Emergencies

Unfortunately, a major part of Grace’s life was her sudden and severe illness. But the amount of support Grace and her family received, in addition to their faith in God, helped carry them through that difficult time. So, the GHNF desires to support others who find themselves facing medical emergencies by giving gas cards and care packages to those we become aware of.
